PROJECT PROGRESS AND HIGHLIGHTS.
On 8.03.2018 we celebrated the live performance of Volksversand der Versandapotheke! Volksversand was no blank sheet. Even before our cooperation, the company had already had an online shop implemented with Shopware 4. Now it was up to us to make it better, more modern and above all to make the range of functions more pleasant, more intelligent and the shop more performant. Because of this, further plugins were integrated and SW4 plugins were rewritten for the new versioning to make them compatible and to be able to continue using them. The combination of already existing structures of the business model and the innovations had to be well thought out. In order to give you an impression, we present the special features of the project. Starting with our elio groups plugin. Shopware offers the possibility to create article variants, but if the main article should change or be taken out of the assortment, the created variants will disappear. More possibilities in the article grouping - with the elio groups plugin we avoid exactly this problem. Article groups can be created dynamically, so our plugin offers maximum flexibility in article management and easy handling. It should be emphasized that this structure works with arbitrary data and therefore the effort for article maintenance is very low. A further advantage of the plugin is the possibility to assign different properties to the articles as well as the grouping of the ratings of the actually single independent articles. Nevertheless, the article is displayed as a variant article in the frontend in a user-friendly way. Since the products are pharmaceuticals and the direct consultation in online business is missing, unless the consultation service is used, our elio interaction plugin is used. The customer therefore has the possibility to check different products for interactions. So he can find out for himself whether he can take or use the selected drugs together without hesitation. Volksversand is user friendly - our FACT-Finder plugin is integrated for fast, personalized searches for relevant products. This enables the search to be auto-completed, precise article output in the navigation, and a comprehensive suggestion output in the shop. Also worth mentioning is the elio Prudsys plugin. Through the integration of our partner Prudsys, which is a recommendation system, personalized products are displayed on Volksversand. With our interface to Shopware, personalized banners, products or similar relevant for the user can be displayed. The personalisation is shop-related and serves as recommendation for the respective user. The template design and implementation is also a realization by elio. The simple and clear navigation was important to find your way through the enormous product range. With this template design it was always to be considered that this branch does not have a precise target group definition - everybody needs a little helper every now and then to stay healthy or to become healthy again. In order to further optimize the shopping experience, another elio plugin was added. A plugin that makes quick orders possible. No more browsing - customers can simply place a direct order. Finally, we would like to talk about our hobbyhorse, the performance. Since the Volksversand online shop has an enormous amount of content, as well as a huge number of articles with a lot of information and a considerable amount of traffic, it was up to us to realize the shop with high performance, which we undoubtedly succeeded in doing.
