Software Developer (m/f/d)

You support the team in the provision and operation of the entire deployment processes (TeamCity, Gitlab, Sonar, etc.). You take care of the monitoring and optimization of the running environments. You are very close to the end customer in the context of support activities and form the interface to the 1st level support of the elio products (eliobase) and projects. You bring feedback from production back into the conception and development phases and are significantly involved in the optimization of our products. You will be a true DevOps engineer, handling software development as well as testing and deployment activities, helping to optimize our continuous integration and delivery pipelines. You will create scripts, processes and methodologies to increase our automation in DevOps.


  • You will work closely with our agile software development team and contribute to new product releases thanks to automation with TeamCity, Docker and Ansible
  • You automate the creation of our software packages (CI) and the release process (CD)
  • You monitor our production, test and development environment with openitcockpit and ensure their availability
  • You evaluate new technologies and design ideas for our CI / CD pipelines
  • Support and optimization of the hosting environment and enterprise applications
  • Contribute innovative ideas and technologies for quality assurance and process optimization


  • A degree in computer science, media informatics, business informatics, or comparable training
  • Commitment, initiative and independence
  • comprehensive knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, Debian) shell scripting
  • You have at least three years of professional experience as a software developer or administrator and have good programming skills with PHP
  • You are well versed with tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Docker and Kubernetes

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in web development
  • good knowledge in object oriented programming
  • good experience with Linux, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, PHP, MySQL
  • experience with well-known frameworks (Zend, Doctrine, Symfony)
  • Experience with PHP Storm, debugging and unit testing
  • Aspiration to learn new technologies and constantly evolve
  • Quick comprehension
  • Passion for clean and semantically correct source code

  • Basic knowledge of open-source frameworks such as Shopware, Magento or comparable systems is helpful
